Concretiers

In the Concretiers series, concrete replaces skin and flesh as human materiality. As the predominant construction material of modern cities, concrete is imposed onto the body, standing in opposition to vulnerability and temporality. The figures suggest a hardened humanity shaped by permanence, weight, and the structures it inhabits.
