Drawing from the myth of Icarus, this work reflects on ambition, blindness, and the vertical logic of the city. The figure’s ascent and imminent fall mirror the promises and dangers of urban aspiration, where proximity to power and visibility often comes at the cost of vulnerability. The myth is reframed as a contemporary reflection on excess and consequence.
